GeoLab
GeoLab overview
How GeoLab uses geotechnical information to support foundation and site decisions for solar and infrastructure projects.
Updated 2026-08-22
GeoLab is Infrenta’s geotechnical and foundation intelligence workspace. It exists to surface soil, groundwater, frost, bedrock, and foundation-system implications before those issues are buried inside an estimate or a layout that is expensive to unwind.
GeoLab combines site parameters, calculation engines, scoring, and report-oriented outputs. Critical calculations are implemented as deterministic engineering logic with audit traces — not as free-form generative text.
What GeoLab is for
- structure geotechnical inputs against a project
- evaluate foundation options with consistent methods
- expose confidence limits when data is missing
- carry foundation assumptions into layout and estimating
What GeoLab is not
Infrenta provides decision-support tools and does not replace project-specific engineering review or sealed professional design where required.
Software output is not a geotechnical investigation. It cannot see a refusal layer that was never logged, and it cannot accept professional responsibility for a sealed drawing.
How it connects
Foundation suitability and constraint context can become governed assumptions in estimating. Layout workspaces need foundation post counts and embedment implications. Procurement may need to wait on foundation strategy before issuing pile or screw packages.
