Getting started
What is Infrenta?
A concise technical introduction to Infrenta: one project record across Estimating, GeoLab, Procurement, Project Controls, and Execution.
Updated 2026-08-23
Infrenta is project-delivery software for solar and infrastructure teams. It keeps commercial, engineering, procurement, and field information on one project record instead of in separate workbooks, inboxes, and file shares.
The product does not replace every specialist tool on a job. It connects the five workflows that usually fragment first:
- Estimating — quantities, rates, build-ups, revisions
- GeoLab — site and foundation decision-support
- Procurement — RFQs, supplier quotes, comparison, commitment
- Project Controls — budget, committed, forecast, variance
- Execution — daily reports, production, logistics, quality/safety, closeout
Supporting product areas such as Solar Layout Studio, Steel Intelligence, and Trade & Tariff attach to the same project. They are not additional top-level workflows.
Who it is for
Typical users include estimators, geotechnical and structural engineers, procurement specialists, project controls analysts, and field coordinators. The same project record is useful to compact C&I teams and to utility-scale delivery organizations. Invited users can open a compiled estimate total through Explain This Number; that inspector is not the default estimating workspace for every customer.
What “connected” means
On many projects the same quantity appears in the estimate, the layout, the RFQ, and the cost report. When those copies drift, teams argue about which file is current.
Infrenta treats the project as the shared identity. Downstream workspaces read issued context from that record rather than inventing a second project definition. Layout quantities can feed estimating. Foundation assumptions from GeoLab can become commercial assumptions. Approved estimate revisions can become procurement baselines. Project Controls can consume budgets, commitments, and forecasts against the same project.
Those connections depend on issued records and shared structure. They are not silent, always-on synchronization. See Connected project record.
What Infrenta is not
Infrenta is decision-support software. Engineering outputs, foundation scores, tariff views, and estimate traces are tools for professionals. They do not replace sealed professional design, licensed engineering judgment, customs advice, or contractual commercial authority.
The product does not currently offer a self-serve public API catalog. Integration work is scoped during implementation. See Integrations & developer access.
