Technical entry point for Infrenta: the project record, the five workflows, supporting product areas, and what to read next.

Updated 2026-08-23

Infrenta is organized around a project record. Estimating, GeoLab, Procurement, Project Controls, and Execution attach to that record. Supporting areas add layout, steel, and origin context when they apply.

This page is the technical map. It is not a catalog of hypothetical modules.

What is a project record?

A project is the root object other records hang from: estimates, site inputs, procurement packages, budgets, and execution records. Creating a project establishes the identity those workspaces will reference. See Creating a project.

How context moves

Project record
    ├── Estimating
    ├── GeoLab
    ├── Procurement
    ├── Project Controls
    └── Execution

Shared objects that can travel with the project include quantities, assumptions, revision identifiers, documents, commitments, forecasts, and execution records.

Context moves when a team issues or selects it — for example an approved estimate revision becoming a procurement baseline. Workflows can also store their own revision. Do not assume every change in one workspace appears automatically in another. The precise contract is in Connected project record.

The five workflows

Estimating

Quantities, rates, cost composition, markups, scenarios, and revisions on one commercial document. Invited users can inspect a value through Explain This Number; that inspector is not the default estimating workspace for every customer.

See Estimating overview.

GeoLab

Site parameters, geotechnical inputs, and foundation alternatives as decision-support. Outputs are not sealed design.

See GeoLab overview.

Procurement

Vendors, RFQs, supplier quotations, comparison, and commitment against approved quantities.

See Procurement overview.

Project Controls

Budget, actuals, commitments, forecast, and variance against the same project and cost structure.

See Project Controls overview.

Execution

Overview, Daily Reports, Production, Resources & Logistics, Quality & Safety, and Closeout on the same project.

See Execution overview.

Supporting product areas

These are public product areas. They do not replace the five workflows.

Security and administration

Company-scoped records, roles, and managed authentication are described in Accounts and access. The public control summary is on Security.

  3. The workflow that matches your role — start with Estimating or GeoLab
